There was a good amount of people in class but there was enough space to not feel like you were hitting into one other. It didn’t feel too cliquey which is important to me. The instructor gave reminders on form often which I appreciate since personally get lazy and need them lol

see all reviewsChristina has a great attitude. I don’t understand what the purpose of the assist cards was if the instructor is not going to make any adjustments if you have yours flipped to “I am open to adjustments.” I liked her sayings and felt like she had a good spirit, had been leading yoga for a while. I also thought the 45 min class was the perfect length.

She guides the perfect blend of a physically challenging asana practice (like really hard but in the best way) and wildly deep invitation to go inward and connect to your highest self. see all reviewsGena is a very grounded gentle instructor. We also had an assistant for this class and at the beginning they asked if folks were ok with being touched / have their posture adjusted. I liked the flow of the class and Gena would offer modifications for certain poses so I did what was comfortable for my body. They provide blocks and blankets. You have to bring your own mat (maybe there’s one to rent but I didn’t check) and I’d recommend bringing a towel cause my mat was getting slippery from sweat. The room is heated to about 80-85 degrees which didn’t feel too hot but does get your warm for the practice and during as well.

They provide mats, blocks, blankets and straps. There’s also a water refilling station. You would need your own towel and water bottle. For this class we used blocks and a mat. Even though it was Hatha yoga there were some Vinyasa like flow elements to it.

see all reviewsI absolutely loved this class! I am a beginner so I don’t have much to compare the class to. I did choose the earliest class with Mary and she was so welcoming and helpful. As I am a beginner I did struggle quite a bit but she made me feel confident throughout the class assisting me with my postures. The temperature of the room was amazing as it wasn’t too hot where I was concerned of any sort of problems which I really enjoyed. The staff were also very kind and helpful. Overall for it being my first yoga class I really enjoyed it I would definitely recommend this class for anyone who is interested!

It’s not traditional to have music, but it’d be a nice addition. It’s 100+ degrees, and it’s normal to feel nauseous, dizzy if you’re new or dehydrated. I love seeing a community of women coming together to uplift each other and though I was new, both Alison and the other students were welcoming and encouraging. A few things to keep in mind - bring your own towel, water bottle and mat cause otherwise you will be doing the warmup on their carpeted floor where others have walked with shoes (including you) and I wish I had got my mat. And anytime a workout is new or challenging or triggering any past pain or injuries you are given modifications.

Liz really made sure we had stability & that we were holding our poses correctly which is so meaningful in Barre since the movements are so high intensity.
