see all reviewsI’m not trying to hurt anybody’s career or hurt any studio so I would not ever leave less than five stars but I would say this class is not titled correctly. It is not a power Vinyasa class plus sound bath. It is a qi jong class with a few downward dogs, and the last five minutes there is very loud New Age music being played which unfortunately drowned out the one lovely crystal singing bowl. I am sure the teacher is a master at what she does, but I was expecting a yoga class. Also, it was very hard for me to get over her first comment in one of the first poses when she said “ if you are a lady with wider hips, you might step your feet further apart”. I would really encourage non-gendered language, as well as avoiding language where there is the judgment of what is “wider” (and wider than who?) — there are many more ways to convey information that are non-harming. awesome thing about the studio is that they sell tall grass, bakery scones!

see all reviewsMy first class at CH and Gaby was great! I took a solidcore class the previous week with a friend and it was SO HARD. I chose to give CH a try as it was closer from me and I could go before work. I wasn’t sure what to expect at CH but I felt like it was the right amount of hard for my practice. The space is bright and welcoming. No feelings of intimidation from anyone. I would say more welcoming to beginners and those wanting to try something of the megaformer tpye. I have taken many Pilates classes but they really don’t compare. I arrived a few minutes early so she was able to explain all the parts of the Megaformer and demo some moves we would be doing. She helped when I needed it and was not pushy or making me feel bad for taking breaks as it was a burner!! 😮💨 Definitely would love to come back and experience more. ☺️

I was a bit intimidated about going in for my first workout in a couple weeks after a bad foot injury, but I’m so glad I finally got in. My only comment is for the fellow shorties out there: be sure to speak up if you need help having equipment adjusted to your height! The coach will be more than happy to assist, and it helps yourself to speak up at the beginning of the circuit instead of in the second round.
