Instructor talks pretty fast but there likely will be experienced class attendees in the room to watch as an excellent visual reference.     Absolutely love the opportunity to work with staff, similarly to a personal trainer, to get you back into the groove and go at your own pace with circuit training. I think I worked with Alex for the Thursday core/glutes and I was so grateful for them meeting me where I'm at, while also being so attentive to all the tools and gear I'd need, making sure I'm comfortable, yet still motivating me with a really helpful laissez faire attitude when I've always been bombarded with personal trainers yelling at you.. this was NOT that. Incredibly thoughtful staff, and good atmosphere. Love it!

    Pros: Anna did a good job leading the training and the exercises are interesting and varied. Cons: the kettlebell options were limited (nothing lighter than 10lbs for straight-arm front raises); the training took place in the lower level of the studio which is like a dark dungeon, super depressing after a whole workday indoors. Don’t know why we didn’t use the upper level which has a wall of windows for natural light.

    So sweet! And the first place in Boston that has a genuine sense of community. I don’t know if it’s because the crowd is more experienced in life or what but people actually talked to each other. That is SO hard to find in any other place. I have been here for 15 years and I still feel lonely and like people don’t actually care for each other at all. Here it felt good.     The entrance was a bit tucked away but the gym was clean and had a lot of equipment. Yves was a great trainer, he asked about my training background, asked if I had any existing injuries, gave me personal feedback on my form, and spotted me on some exercises.
