see all reviewsI greatly enjoyed my first class here. It has a small, family feel. This Open Beginners class had a range of ages from 4 to adults, which I liked because it helped me feel humble, motivated, and open to learning. It was structured with a warmup/stretching, strength & cardio, practice blocking and punching, and paired sparring. I am an absolute beginner at karate, but Sensei did a great job meeting every person at their level. She motivated each of us. It was genuinely one of the hardest workouts I've done in a while, but fun at the same time. I hope to return!
