I went here because I have some recurring low back and glute pain that doesn't seem to resolve itself from stretching, PT and chiropractic. This space is a no frills kind of spot, but is clean. The Dr was professional but I felt like her staff's communication was a little hard to make out...English is not their first language. Session took about 1 hour and consisted of an intake/paperwork and spoke with her briefly about my health/family history. She put in about 15-20 needles in the areas that were bothering me as well as the other side to balance it and had me lay under this heated lamp which was different. never had that in an acu treatment before. I laid there for 20-30 mins. After she removed the needles, she had another worker come in and give me a pretty forceful massage, not the relaxing kind. it was very different from my more Western accupuncture experiences. I'll see how I feel these next few days if it helped.
