I’ve been training at Originae for two years, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! Nancy and Tashon create an incredibly welcoming environment where everyone feels supported, no matter their skill level. Their expertise in boxing is evident, and they personalize each workout to help you achieve your goals. The classes are challenging yet fun, and the community vibe keeps me motivated. I’ve seen amazing improvements in my technique and fitness, all while making great friends along the way. If you’re looking for a place to train, Originae is the perfect choice!

10/10. Norrlyn’s enegry is always amazing and motivating. And great playlist. Always a good class and I look forward to the next one with time. I liked that we had wind down stretch time today- wish this was in all the classes esp since they are an hour.

    Boxing Class

This was my first boxing class and Gian was such a friendly, patient, and non-judgmental instructor! He made me feel comfortable despite having no idea what I was doing m. The class was BRUTAL but fun! Highly recommend taking with Gian if you are a beginner and let him know it’s your first time. The gym provides loaner gloves for free but hand wraps are required. Luckily I had my own from a cardio kickboxing class a few years ago. They have available to purchase there if you don’t have!

Steven is an observant coach, he knows what he's doing and more over sees what you're doing wrong and pushes you to correct it. Sometimes you get trainers that aren't receptive to the fitness of the student or sometimes coaches can be too laxed; I prefer Steven because his training feels balanced and informed.

Joanne was really great, it was my first time trying boxing and she took the time to run me through the basics (multiple times!) and make sure my form was correct. The studio also has a bunch of cool art. And I didn’t have gloves but could borrow some so it’s low gear to try out. A serious fully body workout, will be back!

This man is amazing. Every single person in this room was a vibe. I felt like I was in a music video and had one of the best cardio sweats ever. (Warning: you won’t make front row unless you are a regular and flawless.) I sat to the side middle row. I was still able to see my self in the mirror, felt like front row, but not that good.
