The studio was serene and immaculate. I had a wonderful time in the playground class with Spencer. I have been taking Pilates mat and reformer on and off for >30 years but I have never seen the toys that were featured in this class. A kind of missile with handgrips which challenges your balance and core and TRX were among my favorites. The teacher was chill and magnetic and made helpful corrections in the class. Recommend!

    IN-STUDIO - Express Ashtanga Foundations

Did the Sunday morning Ashtanga express and enjoyed it! It’s described as the fundamentals and think that’s accurate - beginners would feel welcome here but someone who has done Ashtanga before would still enjoy the pared down primary sequence and getting to skip jump backs and forwards if desired. Carlotta was lovely and very encouraging, offering assists and advice throughout. It might not be intense enough for a hardcore Ashtangi, but for the rest of us it was a wonderful start to a Sunday

Open Flow with Ying Wang was a great class. Ying does a great job of cueing so that you know how your body should be positioned and aligned to get the benefits of the practice. This studio really feels like a hidden gem — there’s more to it than it looks from the outside. Our class was held in a second-floor room, and I absolutely loved the vibe. It was calm, peaceful, and a great space to really focus and unwind. The instructor gave very clear directions, which made it easy to follow along even when the movements got challenging. I definitely felt fully worked out by the end of the class. They also sprinkled in a few jokes throughout the session — I didn’t catch all of them as a non-native speaker, but it still added to the overall positive and relaxed atmosphere.
