He created a safe environment where I felt empowered to explore, and zero shame about modifying in ways that felt right for my body. This is a tough fitness ethos to find, and I really enjoyed and trusted his calm and descriptive instructions. I left having had a great workout, and a clearer mind after a challenging day.

I had to do modifications for some of the moves I found a more challenging (I’m still working on strengthening my core so I can hold planks longer), but that’s okay! I recommend at least trying this class, even if you’re not sure if a higher intensity class is for you.

Probably not the best class to kind of drop in on as a beginner, but the instructor was super kind and patient, and incredibly encouraging! It helped that the class size was small in that regard, as I was able to get help with my barbell form. The other attendees were also kind, even though it was clear I was not in the same league, haha! All said, I pushed myself and gave it my all, and I’m proud of what I did and happy with the outcome! The class size is small so that the teacher can make sure you’re doing everything correctly. Claudia explained everything in a way that made complete sense to ensure you were doing the movements in the best posture and form. Then we paired up to practice different sequences for 15 min. After that we practiced our lessons in a playful sparring session amongst the other class mates.
