The dress code on classpass is listed as “no midriff showing and no shorts”. I arrived and instructors and fellow attendees were in sports bras and shorts. It was 90F. I too would have liked to have worn the shorts and bra option. Please update your dress code policy to match the class.

Really enjoyed this class! Such a chill, calm vibe in the studio in the morning plus the class itself was a great full body Pilates style burn. Alex was such a great instructor- she kept the energy up and gave great cues throughout the class. Reminded me of Bianca on the Alo app if anyone is familiar!

    Strength & Conditioning

She is the best instructor I've taken with at Kala. I have had yoga with a few others as well and they were wonderful! Allysa is like a calming drill sergeant. I believe it's because she is really present with her students and can sense when they need that extra, "you're stronger than you think" or "it's okay to choose lower weights if you need that right now". She remembers everyone's name. She notices the small things like if you are trying to knit your lower rib cage together while not even being cued. I mean teachers talk about this a lot in cues but do they really see when you are doing it on your own? It's subtle. I think her years as a professional dancer have helped shape the teacher she is now. The class she designed has an amazing playlist and the short circuits are perfectly tailored so you don't get burnt out by too long of reps in one area. This class is part of why I joined class pass and I hope it stays.

    GH CYCLE 45

Hands down the best cycle classes I’ve ever taken. Danielle is the best! Her energy is contagious and she has a real gift for pushing you to find more in yourself than you thought you had. The classes are intense and will challenge you, but you’ll feel so good afterwards. Highly recommend!
