Prior to class he gave me a preview of what to expect, emphasizing that my focus should be on form and weight vs reps. The class is structured by stations with a timer for each station and rest for muscle recovery in between. Being my first time in class, Emil coached me through each station, ensuring my firm was correct and that I was lifting the appropriate amount. He focused on form, correcting as necessary. I enjoyed this class and will make it a staple whenever I visit. If you want a workout focused on lifting- with becoming stronger as your goal, I highly recommend this class.

As a Classpasser, I didn’t think I was eligible for the achievement acknowledgments. I have taken cycle with Jenn for 95% of the classes I have attended. I have tried a few other instructors but Jenn is just THAT good. I love her format, how she builds the intensity and her music. Plus, she is beyond hilarious and her commentary(which can sometimes be risqué, but hey, I am a grownup) makes class fly by and keeps me highly entertained. She is so quick witted. I would love to attend Neon more often, but I live on the other side of Plano and evening classes are too difficult to get to therefore Neon is my weekend guilty pleasure. Thanks Neon, love you all!

The programming is creative so I don’t get bored; it’s paced so I don’t feel rushed and can focus on my form and moving with intention; and it’s the right amount of challenging so I can ramp it up on days I’m feeling it or ramp it down on days my body is just barely hanging in there. There are all levels in the class, and Vicki offers modifications for every level and/or injury. She’s great with giving clear instructions, motivating the class, and watching everyone’s form to make sure we’re moving safely and effectively.
