One of the easier soulcycle classes I’ve taken. Great workout, good playlist, instructor’s pep talk actually hits the spot. Glad I could follow along throughout the class while also pushing myself

    Music Video Cycle

Wonderful instruction and fun idea. I cycle a lot, and it’s a lot of fun how different instructors entertain and challenge during a class. I will say unfortunately the music/music videos were not at all my taste (alt-rock, pop-punk, and EDM predominantly) but it wasn’t lost on me that the instructor did try to mix genres, and I can’t fault her at all for my personal taste. Please do themed rides, this is such a fun idea!

Why do so many spin studios default to songs with high-high RPMs + low resistance? Maybe everybody likes that except me? Lol. If you've ever been to a metrics-driven class like Cyclebar or Flywheel (RIP), you'll see how lower RPMs and adding resistance is a better workout - higher power is generated (more calories burned, etc). Plus it's way better for the joints! I love an occasional sprint, but the majority of the songs in this class felt around 100-120RPMs which is mega fast and means most people will have little resistance on the bike, and are basically flailing their legs around. Let's spend more time around 70-90 please, for a better more sustainable workout!! Ok rant over - this is a good studio if you like that kind of class! :)

    HIIT Cycle 45

Such a good workout. There was also only 4 people there which was nice. Really liked the instructor - she was so nice and helped me get all set up. I feel she was also the perfect amount of coaching vs talking nonstop the whole class. HIIT cycle was no joke and it does really feel like you’re training vs some of the other cycle classes I’ve been to.

There is signage for Transform 180, but also still the Denali Fitness signage from a recent acquisition. I was emailed key access and asked to download the Kisi app, but did not need it at this location (as of 2/22/24 anyway). Plenty of parking in the neighborhood. Locker room and class space are both upstairs. Enjoyed the upbeat Barre class.
