see all reviewsJoey is such a phenomenal Pilates teacher. She has such a thorough understanding of the Pilates method but makes it so easy to understand and teaches it in ways that make so much sense. Sometimes classically Pilates teaches can be very intimidating but she is so down to earth and infuses so much humor and personality into her class. The moves she teaches are simple but SO effective.
woo-woo is a space for well-being with daily movement & mindfulness offerings.ASPIRE Barre Shred
see all reviewsIt was a great class especially since I’ve been away for about 7 months due to wrist injuries in both my wrists The class was a good balance between cardio and pilates! The movements are easy to follow and really help isolate the intended muscles. The instructor was encouraging and offered modifications is needed and was also communicative about how to isolate certain muscle groups! Since I train Muay Thai, I really wanted a class that did isometric movements with cardio-which this class was, plus I loved the music too!

see all reviewsI have yoga'd many a place and the new BodyRiot building might be the best studio I have ever been to. The place offers so much with great variety, a clean space, and friendly welcoming staff. As for the flow today, I really enjoyed it. The progression felt natural. Each flow modification built onto the next and my body felt strong, warmed up, and ready to expand past my limits. Lindsay dropped some lore about the moon at the end of class, which was cool. I would have loved to have her layer the moon lore throughout the class and tie it to the moments that we were experiencing, rather than just as parting savasana thoughts. Lindsay had good peojection and presence around the room - making sure the class felt seen and acknowledged, but I would have loved to have seen her offer adjustments or assists to take us deeper and empower us in our postures.
