The instructor did mention legs are the main focus and beginners can stay in the saddle if they wish to. By the way, the FOH staff (the girl) was friendly and lovely. When we were setting up the bikes, she checked in with me and asked if I needed help in setting up. Ground Zero also has another room for group fitness training.. I'll try that class next time.
