    HYROX with Patrina

    Intense but so worth it! Hyrox is HIIT all the way with the incorporation of weights and machines. Very challenging for a first timer girl like me( not a gym person, only do mat pilates as my workout) However, coach is very helpful, guiding me with the correct forms along the way.     My Abs hurt. I’m feeling the burn. Normally not many guys like to take classes like these, because the intensity is not enough, but this class is exceptional. The coach is very attentive and keeps a close eye on your form. I really enjoyed this class. Highly recommendable.

    I know, the whole class from Barry's look like they could all be featured in 'Fitspos of the Week' and you look at yourself and you feel like a potato. But it's ok, the room is dark, music is booming and everyone's too engrossed in their own workout to be judging you. Anyway, this is my 3rd Barry's class and all the instructors have been good (lucky I didn't meet any mean ones which I read in some of the reviews). And you know the difference between a good instructor and a great instructor? A great one gives very clear instructions and makes you know exactly what to do next. I like that Jian Hong Teng's verbal cues are absolutely on point and his demonstrations are very clear; which is awesome. Also at one point of time, I was doing one of the floor exercises slightly wrongly and he came to cue me the correct form. I will definitely go back for his classes.
