Parking is busy/challenging during the day on this street! This class is four stations that you rotate through and you do a couple of other rotating sets at the end. If you don’t know anything about boxing combinations, footwork, or even how to punch, you’re gonna be lost. $ean was really nice and helpful when I flagged him down. But my perception was that this is a class for peeps who are familiar with how to box. Don’t be shy—no one is paying attention to you and all you have to watch for is if you’re sharing a bag with someone and you have to take turns hitting. Fun and goes fast! So sweaty!

She sticks to the true pilates techniques and really takes her time to explain the movements/concepts so that we understand and can succeed within our exercise. I’ve taken many classes with many different instructors and always find myself missing her method of teaching. She’s the only instructor i’ll drive 20 miles for to attend a class. Absolutely brilliant.

Lin is incredibly talented at what she does, but even more than that, she cares about her clients. The session itself for me was extraordinarily healing and involved minimal, but poignant touch. It was rooted in healing and releasing energy I had stored. As a typical westerner who has always relied on treating the “visible” problems of chronic pain through avenues such as massage, chiropractic care, medicine, stretching etc. I admit I was somewhat skeptical but also believed in Lin’s approach. Now writing this review 3 hours after my session ended, I can tell you with full confidence that SOMETHING has shifted, or lifted, or cleared, within me. I feel lighter, calmer, and my neck pain doesn’t feel so “heavy.” I truly believe Lin and her practice are one of a kind and worth every penny (or ClassPass credit) because of what she offers.
