If you’re using ClassPass, you have to book a class at Originae in Chelsea! Nancy and Tashon run a boxing studio that’s as intense as it is supportive. I walked in thinking I’d get fit; instead, I discovered a hidden talent for sweating profusely and looking dramatic while throwing punches. They’ll have you mastering defensive moves while simultaneously questioning your life choices. Seriously, it’s a workout that leaves you feeling like a champ (and a bit like you just survived a battle). Don’t miss this chance to box your way to glory—just be ready to face the mirror afterward!

Brian great as always. A message to the ClassPass/rumble peeps: why continue to push the pricing on these classes??? Used to be 7/8 credits a class. Now 9 minimum and often 10-12. Surge pricing for this makes no sense. This class was less than half full. Pls return pricing to 7-8/class and don’t jerk us regulars around by constantly changing credit values

This was my first boxing class and Gian was such a friendly, patient, and non-judgmental instructor! He made me feel comfortable despite having no idea what I was doing m. The class was BRUTAL but fun! Highly recommend taking with Gian if you are a beginner and let him know it’s your first time. The gym provides loaner gloves for free but hand wraps are required. I really enjoyed this class! Nikki was very encouraging and full of positive energy. She worked so hard with us, which kept us going.
