I was struggling with some moves but that's just a sign that I need to attend more classes! Overall, it was challenging but in a good way and the class went by fast. It's the day after and I already feel sore . Looking forward to more classes.

see all reviewsClass was tough and moves fast, but the instructor was great… she gave me an idea of what to expect and an orientation to the space before class started, and the owner gave me a tour of the facility.. Some thoughtful touches like hairbands & mouthwash in the bathrooms. Cleaning wipes are available to wipe down equipment after use, which is always great to see. Everyone was very nice & encouraging. I will definitely feel this tomorrow but I felt great walking out!

see all reviewsThe class was definitely challenging for a reformer beginner. There’s a steep learning curve to the reformers and the moves. I thought since I’ve done lots of barre and Pilates classes I’d be fine. The instructor showed the new students some basics of the reformers before class started then we dove right in. The instructor wore a microphone and cued the following move during the current move for fast transitions. That part confused me. I don’t think I’ve ever sworn so much during a fitness class. The instructor offered feedback and corrections. The studio is well designed. After class, the instructor was very nice and another student told me her first time was difficult too, so that was encouraging.

see all reviewsI love what studio glow is about. Liz is an amazing ray of sunshine. She’s incredible and passionate about what she does. There are moments where you just break out and do your own dance. Also a couple of little moments with weights for toning. It’s a great exercise, too! My only feedback is that I need a bit more cueing to learn the dances. Sometimes liz changes what she’s doing but doesn’t cue you verbally to change, you just have to be watching Liz. She also did not teach the moves prior to the music starting, so I feel like I have to be looking at Liz the whole time. It made for an overwhelming class where I felt I trying to keep up with Liz and couldn’t be more independent and let loose. With a bit more communication and instruction, this would’ve been a perfect experience!
