    CANDLELIT HEATED FLOW 45

Oh my gosh! It was my first time at Studio3 and I was so impressed by the facility and friendliness of the staff and amenities. To be honest I wasn’t sure if this was a studio where I would feel comfortable. But on arrival I was met with such kindness and warmth that my preconceived thoughts around it being “too fancy” or in a neighborhood I don’t usually go too went right right the door! It’s well cultivated, clean, easy to navigate, and showers, lockers, towels, and mats available to use for free! Kate’s class was a good balance of a sequence, some challenging poses, and plenty of time to cool down and decompress. Kate has such a unique, creative and welcoming class that helps folks of all levels feel connected and in tune with themselves and community. I highly recommend checking out this studio and Kate’s classes- what an incredible instructor! 💜 can’t wait to come back + I’ll bring my water bottle! Parking is validated and near CTA blue line :)

A little too fast paced and the workout routine felt more like a choreographed dance so if you are not exactly a graceful dancer, you will feel a little lost...I didnt like how quickly it moved bc most of the time, I felt like I was playing catch up. The instructor is doing the class so she is not going to correct your form...having said that, the vibe WAS welcoming and you dont feel singled out despite being a newcomer..The heat is just the right temperature and you certainly will have an adrenaline rush and work out body parts you didnt know you could stretch. I would give ot another try and hope I pick up the moves..

Jordan’s class is my FAVORITE in Chicago. His choreography is always so fresh and fun and FAST so you always get your heart rate up. He picks the best bops too. Probably a better class for folks who have had dancing training, but you’ll have a good time regardless! I could not recommend this class enough!

This class kicked my butt but i was able to keep up. Kinda wanted to quit 15 minutes before the end, and come back another time, but i powered through. The upbeat dance music and especially Nikki’s energizing persona helped me get through it. I think it’s a very effective workout for toning and sculpting because every muscle in my body was put to work. There was variety in the class in age and body type but you can tell the women who were regulars looked awesome and sculpted. I swear one class made a difference in overall toning my body! (I react quickly to exercise). I definitely would like to come back and recommend the class.

Really fun dance fitness class. Seriously give it a try. You won’t know the moves but they make it fun anyway. Really friendly teachers and community. Be ready to sweat! I averaged 158 heartbeats per minute for the class.

Sara was easy to follow and explained how certain moves benefit different parts of the body. I love that the class is called mindful movement because I am sore from exercising parts of my body that I haven't exercised in a long time and I definitely need to. I definitely felt great after!
